There are around 25 male communities and about 50 female communities inside and outside monasteries and convents in Switzerland. Their umbrella organisation is the Conference of the Unions of Religious Orders and Secular Institutes in Switzerland (KOVOSS/KORISS) The website of the organisation contains details of all of the female and male religious communities, their associations and the secular institutes.
