Maria zum Schnee

This chapel was originally built for herdsmen on the Rigi mountain. In order to take care of it, Capuchin monks later settled there in a small monastery (“Klösterli”) built for them. In Ordinary Time, the feast days of “Our Lady of the Snows” are the Marian feasts.
