Madonna della Fontana di Perlengora

The Pilgrimage Church of Madonna della Fontana dates back to a vow of Christians from Ascona in 1618 in connection with the plague epidemic that was raging at the time. But the actual origin is the drought of 1428, when a shepherd girl prayed to the Mother of God for water for her sheep and then water began to gush out of the ground at that spot.
