Notre Dame du Vorbourg
The oldest Marian treasure in the canton of Jura stands atop a rock prominence that towers above the Birs river and guards the entrance to the valley of Delsberg. The Benedictine monks from the monastery at Le Bouveret in Valais have been taking care of it since 1995. Every year in September, the citizens of Jura commemorate the crowning of their Mother of God in 1869 with a week of pilgrimage.
